A wilderness that can chew you up and spit you out.

I'm back. I had a great time even though the hike didn't go exactly as planned for anybody on this trip but it was such an adventure I don't think anyone had a bad time. The trail was basically bushwhacking between blazes and one really needs to know the use of map and compass here. (Thank goodness I do!) The trail needs some major maintenance but it is a wonderful trail that I have fallen in love with. I Love the north country!!
